From the door to the desktop

One partner for the network, the Wi-Fi, the doors, the cameras and the screens.

Landlords, flexible-workspace operators and hospitality — buildings judged on the experience inside them. The enemy is fragmentation: the gaps between cabling, network, access, AV, security and support are exactly where tenant-facing friction lives. We close them. Across Foundry's six flex-workspace sites, the Hydro and The View on the Eastbourne seafront, and Golding Homes' estate, the brief is the same — one accountable partner from cabling to cloud, the door to the desktop, delivered without taking the building offline.

The whole building

One platform for the building and everyone in it.

Landlord-side infrastructure, tenant services and common-area technology designed as one managed estate — not a stack of single-purpose installs that age at different rates.

Inside the building

Base-build networks

Switching, fibre, firewall and structured cabling — the layer every smart-building service rides on, built once and built right.

Tenant & guest Wi-Fi

Segmented, branded and reportable wireless, designed for density and churn — Juniper Mist and Ekahau-surveyed, not access points guessed onto a wall.

Access, CCTV & building systems

Cloud access control, AI-aware CCTV, intercoms and BMS — integrated and visible, not five separate suppliers blaming each other.

AV, audio & signage

Extron-certified meeting and event AV, zoned commercial audio and cloud digital signage — the spaces tenants and guests actually judge you on.

Across the portfolio

Multi-site as one platform

New sites designed against a known architecture, so the estate behaves as one — the same standard in every building, however fast you add them.

Resilient connectivity

Our own ISP core with diverse carriers behind a single circuit. In a flex space or a hotel, internet availability isn't a convenience — it's the product.

Telephony & unified comms

Cloud office and hospitality telephony on 3CX, integrated with the platforms you already run — PMS, booking, back-office.

One accountable supplier

Cabling to cloud, the door to the desktop — one engineering bench and one number, so supplier fragmentation never becomes the tenant's problem.

Proven in the field

Real buildings, real numbers.

  • Foundry — flexible workspace, 6 sitesA national flex-workspace operator run as one connected platform: 146 access-controlled doors, 70 Wi-Fi access points, 69 AI-aware cameras and 38 switches. What began as a Wi-Fi conversation became an outsourced technology department.
  • Hydro Hotel — four networks into oneA live seafront hotel modernised without pausing operations: four separate networks consolidated onto one segmented platform, 35 Ekahau-surveyed access points, gigabit fibre and 97 Wi-Fi bedroom phones.
  • The View Hotel — AV done by specialistsExtron-certified AV across six meeting and event spaces, on one control plane, plus 3CX cloud telephony across 130 bedrooms integrated with Oracle Opera and Salto access.
  • Golding Homes — estate-wide networkA social landlord serving 20,000 people, on a Fortinet estate M-Tech has run and refreshed since 2019 — through to a Wi-Fi 7 rollout and firewall and switching refresh.

M-Tech are a fundamental partner at FOUNDRY supporting us as we scale across the UK at pace. The multidisciplinary technical support and development we receive is first class, coupled with a straightforward transparent approach to doing business.

  1. Survey & design

Ekahau Wi-Fi survey, network and systems design measured against your actual building — not a template dropped on a floor plan.

  2. Deploy around live operations

Phased installation worked around tenants, guests and events, with out-of-hours cutovers where they're needed. The building stays open.

  3. Integrate the estate

Access, CCTV, AV, telephony and building systems brought onto one network and one security model — designed to talk to each other.

  4. Managed & monitored

Proactive monitoring, annual servicing and structured upgrade planning, with one number to call across the whole estate.

FAQs

Questions we hear from landlords and managing agents.

Can you work while the building stays let?
Yes — that's the normal mode. Cabling, network and AV work gets phased around tenant working hours, with out-of-hours cutovers where they're needed and clear comms to building users in advance. The building doesn't come offline to get modernised.
Do you handle landlord-side and tenant-side infrastructure?
Both. The landlord layer — base-build connectivity, communal Wi-Fi, BMS, access control, CCTV, common-area AV — and the tenant fit-outs that sit on top. We're happy to run the whole building or sit alongside an existing tenant IT provider on the demarcation line.
Tenant Wi-Fi — who owns the experience?
You can. Communal Wi-Fi delivered as a tenant amenity, with per-tenant SSIDs, isolated traffic, captive portal and reporting if you want to commercialise it. Or we can hand individual tenants a clean piece of the network and let them run their own.
Smart-building integration — how far does it go?
As far as the building can take advantage of. Access control, CCTV, BMS, lighting, occupancy, room booking, energy and digital signage all under one network and one security model. We design the integrations rather than just installing the boxes.
Multi-site landlords — can you run a portfolio?
Yes. Several of our commercial property clients run multi-site estates with the network, security and support model standardised across them. One operating model, one supplier conversation, the same standards in every building.
Who does the specialist AV — you or a third party?
Us. Our AV is Extron-certified and designed in-house — the meeting and event spaces guests judge you on, on the same control plane and the same support contract as the rest of the building.
