Introduction

The first ten minutes of every meeting spent fighting the screen-share. A bar that loses its background music every time the Wi-Fi blips. A 180-person conference where the touch panel does seven things and none of them are obvious. Most AV problems aren't kit problems — they're design, programming and ownership problems.

Specialist AV done properly disappears.

AV

From meeting room to main stage.

Hybrid rooms that just work, Extron-driven conference suites that earn their certification, public-space audio with a brand of its own, signage that does more than loop an image, and telephony shaped for the building it serves. Designed and supported together, not procured in pieces.

Inside the room — meeting & conference AV

Hybrid meeting rooms

High-end displays, Logitech Rally Bar / Meetup, ceiling mics, intuitive room control. Hybrid that works for the people in the room and the people on the call.

Specialist Extron conference AV

Fully integrated Extron control architecture — branded touch interfaces, advanced audio routing, multi-display and projection management. Designed, installed and certified by Extron-trained engineers.

Custom branded touch interfaces

One simple, intuitive control panel over what is in reality a highly sophisticated environment. Spaces reconfigure between events, presentations and day-to-day use without requiring technical knowledge.

Simple wireless collaboration

Plug an adapter, share wirelessly, or cast from any device — and the screen appears. Paid meeting space shouldn't lose the first ten minutes of the booking to an HDMI cable.

Showpiece multi-screen environments

Engineered systems for the rooms that have to land — fully integrated event spaces, managed display environments held in consistency across every screen, supported remotely.

Across the venue — audio, signage, telephony & access

Commercial public-space audio

Reception, bar, restaurant, corridors — centrally managed audio, scheduled through the day, a consistent sound identity. Wired, zoned, controlled — not consumer kit hanging off the Wi-Fi.

Cloud-managed digital signage

Wayfinding, promotion, operational comms and guest engagement on a single managed channel. Content updated remotely in real time, not printed posters that go stale the moment they go up.

Hospitality & business telephony

3CX cloud telephony at scale — bedroom phones, reception, mobile, DECT — integrated with PMS platforms like Oracle Opera so guest, room and call data live as one.

Hearing-loop accessibility

Custom-specified hearing-loop systems designed alongside specialist accessibility partners. Reception, meeting and event spaces, public areas — accessibility built into the venue, not added on when asked.

What engineered AV actually buys you.

Rooms guests use, not fight

The first ten minutes of a meeting belong to the meeting, not the AV. Hybrid that connects, panels that explain themselves, screens that share without ceremony.

Atmosphere that earns its keep

Public-space audio, signage and the on-brand feel of the venue stop being a coincidence. Centrally managed, scheduled, on-brand — and the same standard from reception to event suite.

One partner across the layers

AV, audio, signage, telephony and accessibility supported by the same team — and joined up with the network, security and managed service underneath. Fewer suppliers, fewer joins, less friction.

How it lands in practice

Hospitality, conference and showpiece spaces.

Two estates that show what engineered AV looks like in the wild — a modern seafront hotel running its meetings, audio, signage and telephony as one platform, and a national coworking brand whose showpiece event spaces sit on the same standard as the network underneath them.

How to engage

Whether it's one room or the whole venue.

Most clients start with one room that isn't earning its keep, or a fragmented stack worth rationalising. We'll quote on the actual room and the actual operating model — not a brochure.

  1. Room walk-through

We sit in the rooms with you. What works, what doesn't, what gets used and what's been gathering dust since install. Honest read on what to keep and what to replace.

  2. Engineered design

A room or estate-wide design — kit list, control architecture, audio routing, signage strategy — sized to the actual operating model, not a catalogue.

  3. Build, programme & certify

Cabling, install, Extron programming, commissioning, sign-off. Certified work where the spec calls for it. Out-of-hours where the venue requires it.

  4. Managed across the estate

Proactive monitoring, annual servicing, structured upgrade planning and rapid-response support across the AV, audio, signage, telephony and accessibility estate.

FAQs

Questions we hear every week.

Are you actually Extron-certified, or do you just install the kit?
Certified. The Extron environments at Foundry's Eastbourne Breakwater suite, the state-of-the-art meeting room at Hove and the conference spaces at The View Hotel are designed, programmed and commissioned by Extron-trained engineers — not assembled from off-the-shelf parts. That matters because Extron done badly is the only thing anyone remembers.
Can you cover hospitality and corporate, or just one?
Both. The View Hotel is the deepest hospitality programme we run — meeting rooms, public-space audio, signage, telephony, hearing-loops, the lot. Corporate clients tend to start with hybrid meeting rooms and sometimes signage, and grow from there. Same engineering team behind both.
Do you do public-space audio properly, not just speakers from Argos?
Yes — and the difference shows. Wired, zoned, centrally managed commercial audio over the structured cabling, with scheduling and a consistent sound identity through the day. Foundry replaced unreliable consumer-style speakers that depended on Wi-Fi for connectivity; The View runs scheduled audio across reception, the Vista bar and the restaurant from one platform.
Can you handle telephony alongside the AV?
Yes — 3CX cloud telephony at hospitality scale, integrated with PMS platforms like Oracle Opera. The View runs 130 bedroom phones, reception, mobile and DECT off one platform. Same approach works for corporate environments at the smaller end.
What about accessibility — hearing loops, that kind of thing?
Custom-specified hearing-loop systems designed alongside specialist accessibility partners. Reception, meetings, event spaces, public areas — built into the venue rather than added on as an afterthought. In flight at The View Hotel as part of the wider modernisation programme.
Will the AV be supported once it's installed?
Yes. AV sits on the same managed service that wraps the rest of the estate — proactive monitoring, annual servicing, structured upgrade planning, rapid-response support. See Fully Managed Services for how the operating side works. Sits naturally alongside Smart Buildings and Networks & Connectivity.
