A team that takes the time to get it right.
Engineers, architects and service leaders who'd rather pick up the phone than send a ticket reply. UK-based, working best with organisations whose IT team is small, generalist, or somebody else's day job — multi-branch retailers, hospices and trusts, regional firms with several offices.
- UK-based
- Sized to fit
- Talk to an engineer
M-Tech was founded in 2003 — and the core team has been together for almost twenty years. The last technology partner you'll ever need, is how we tend to put it.
We're experts as a service: engineers, architects and service leaders who'd rather get the thing right than be quick about saying it's done. Our mission has stayed the same the whole time — to revolutionise end-user perception of IT and encourage proper adoption of the technology that's already in front of people.
Two decades, one direction of travel.
From a local break-fix shop to a fully managed technology department — the same instinct the whole way through: make the technology quietly work.
- 2003
Where it started
M-Tech Systems founded in Eastbourne — fixing and supporting the technology local organisations relied on, and learning early that the best call is the one a client never has to make.
- The managed shift
From break-fix to managed
We moved from reactive support to running estates properly — standardised builds, monitoring, security and patching, so problems were engineered out rather than waited for.
- Our own network
Becoming an ISP
We registered our own UK Autonomous System (AS203582) and built a carrier-grade core — so connectivity became something we own and answer for, not something we resell and hope about.
- Our own cloud
A UK private cloud
mtech.cloud — a UK-hosted Nutanix platform — gave clients sovereign infrastructure with recovery designed around outcomes, not green ticks in a console.
- Today
One accountable department
MSP, MSSP, ISP, property technology, automation and AI under one roof — from the cabling in the wall to the AI agent on the desktop, run by one engineering bench with one set of SLAs.
Every M-Tech employee holds an Enhanced DBS check — not just field engineers, every single member of the team.
Thirteen things most MSPs can't say.
Plenty of providers can claim one or two of these. The point isn't any single line; it's the whole set, all true and all from one company. Put the list against any other quote on the table.
- 01Independent since 2003The same core team throughout.
- 02Cabling to cloud, all inPatch panel to tenant, one team.
- 03Our own UK networkA registered ISP, not a reseller.
- 04Our own UK cloudmtech.cloud, sovereign and predictable.
- 05True 24/7Our engineers, not an answering service.
- 06Trustmarks most don't holdISO 27001, 9001, 14001, Cyber Essentials Plus, G-Cloud.
- 07Customers who can't have downtimeA 999 trust, an island government.
- 08Direct vendor relationshipsFirst-tier, not a distributor's queue.
- 09A dedicated AI divisionM-Tech Labs AI ships real software.
- 10Shift-left supportTickets engineered out, not answered faster.
- 11An Apple specialismMacs and iPads as first-class citizens.
- 12Things tech MSPs don't usually touchBroadcast AV, smart buildings, voice AI.
- 13Every employee DBS checkedEnhanced, everyone, not just engineers.
If another provider can honestly say all thirteen, hire them.
You'll know who you're talking to.
M-Tech isn't a faceless helpdesk with a rota of strangers. The same engineers who design your estate run it, sit in your reviews, and answer when something needs a decision. Long tenure means the person on the phone usually already knows your setup — and your name.

Proof, not promises.
