“I am excited to bring my knowledge and experience to M-Tech, to work with their executive team to drive growth over the coming months and years.” said Fane. “I was attracted to joining the team at M-Tech after working with them in previous roles, and having always been very impressed by their technical capability, passion for innovation and customer service and the open and nurturing culture they have developed.”
With more than 20 years’ sales and business experience in the channel, Fane has held management and executive positions at leading IT channel businesses and was formerly Managing Director of IQ-Sys, the multi-award winning Citrix distributor which was acquired by SCH and later sold to Tech Data. M-Tech sees Fane’s experience in fast-growth technology and industry relationships as an important part of its growth strategy.
M-Tech Systems is a dynamic and innovating technology provider based in the South East of England, with offices in London and Abu Dhabi. A technically-led business, M-Tech has been a Citrix partner for 15 years, was an early adopter of VMWare and is currently the UK’s only Gold RES Partner. The recent acquisition of RES by Ivanti places M-Tech at the pinnacle of the partner network of the largest digital workspace solution company delivering user workspace & IT automation in the UK.
Fane’s appointment coincides with the forthcoming launch of mtech.cloud, M-Tech’s own, Nutanix-based cloud platform, supplying comprehensive desktop, mobility and telecoms infrastructure to both enterprise and education markets, built on the most robust and scalable platform available.
Speaking about Fane’s appointment, Martin Lulham, M-Tech MD, said, “We are thrilled Sean is joining M-Tech at this crucial time, as we look to dive further into existing verticals and expand into the enterprise. M-Tech has been going from strength to strength, solidifying our technical expertise within the blue light, charity and education sectors in 2017, and expanding through new customer acquisition. This appointment improves the executive bandwidth to push further with these objectives.”
