In spring 2020, Microsoft announced some updates to their Office 365 range of products, including: additions to their product line up, name changes and new app features. Changes are in effect from 21st April 2020.

New Names, Same Great Value, Same Great Price
Office 365 Business Essentials >> Microsoft 365 Business Basic
Office 365 Business Premium >> Microsoft 365 Business Standard
Microsoft 365 Business >> Microsoft 365 Business Premium
Office 365 Business >> Microsoft 365 Apps for Business
Office 365 ProPlus >> Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise
No other Office 365 plans will be changing their names, this includes: Office 365 for Enterprise E1/E3/E5, Office 365 for Education A1/A3/A5, Office 365 for Government G1/G3/G5.
Launch of Microsoft 365 Personal and Family
From April 21st 2020, Microsoft will evolve their original consumer focused Office 365 product into the all new Microsoft 365 Personal and Family. This has the option of an individual subscription, or a family oriented one for up to six users. The new product is designed to help you make the most of your time, connect, and protect the ones you love.
COMING SOON: A new Microsoft Family Safety App and new features in Microsoft Teams allowing you greater connection and collaboration.
New Features Within the Apps
Edit: Write with more clarity and conciseness across Word, Outlook and in browser.
Present: New AI features in PowerPoint give speech refinement and pitch suggestions.
Organise: Link personal calendars to work calendars while maintaining privacy for a true reflection of availability.
Get Creative: Access hundreds of stock images, videos, fonts and icons for free to use across PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
